The Sonic Generations PC version continues to be mentioned… and edited out… again!

October 8, 2011

For some reason, SEGA must not want to officially reveal the PC version of Sonic Generations, even though it was listed on SEGA-Sammy’s anual report, but it was edited out, it was mentioned once again,  now a PC version was mentioned with the newly released Modern Era trailer on SEGA’s own blog. As you can tell, it was also edited out. TSSZ News is reporting that a pre-order for a PC version has been listed on, but it has been edited out yet again.

Seriously, either this is the worst typo ever, because it keeps referenced over and over, only to be removed or this could be one of the companies worst kept secrets ever.

The preorder is still available on Direct2Drive. Also, there’s a registry entry for the preorder on Steam. The PC versions is confirmed. It’s coming, but I don’t think it’ll be released in the same day as the console versions.

I think it’s worth waiting for. I don’t want to play the Sonic’s 20th anniversary game with less than 60 FPS and 1080p.

If that’s the case they could’ve saved themselves the trouble of having to constantly keeping it under wraps by confirming it, ’cause they are doing a poor job.
