Sega wins two Guinness World Records at E3

June 18, 2010

What seems like a very good year for Sega, it can get even better, as today they have announced that they have won two Guinness World Record prizes:

The first award (pardon the glare) is for Valkyria Chronicles. The award is for best strategy RPG for the PS3! Valkyria Chronicles won Game of the Year, Strategy Game of the Year, and achieved average review scores of 86% and 86.38% in 2008.

he second award is for Virtua Fighter. We received it for being the first fully 3D fighting game to employ polygon graphics as opposed to animated sprites in 1993.

Congratulations for Sega for these two awards, one of them, a long time coming and bless Yu Suzuki for that vision. And nice to see Valkyria Chronicles getting the recognition it deserves.
