Conduit 2 getting MotionPlus Support

June 11, 2010

It's the thing in the circle.

Set in the fabled city of Atlantis, the Conduit 2 is the sequel of the just-adequate Conduit (Wii), and maybe the use of MotionPlus support, just announced by SEGA, is one installment that may set the sequel above the level mediocrity the first clotheslined itself on before promptly submerging itself in a patch of Drudge goo.

But, maybe that’s being harsh. Apart from a few rickety gameplay mechanics and a rather bland level design the Conduit was a good game, and when you think about it, if you could just get the crosshair to have the sort of stability it flaunts on the Wii’s more powerful older brothers, then Conduit may have been fantastic. So, hey presto, Conduit 2 is getting MotionPlus! Sounds like a good formula to me!

“It’s by no means required – gamers will have a great experience without it – but it does offer a level of extra control and adds value to those with the accessory.”

No doubt we’ll be hearing more from SEGA at E3.
